[K-ETA] Travel information - Insadong, Seoul

Insa-dong, located in the city center, is an important place where old but valuable traditional products are displayed. This is a street where you can feel Korean tradition.

Insadong has one main road and alleys on both sides. The alley is lined with galleries, traditional restaurants, teahouses, and cafes.

The gallery is the heart of Insa-dong. The area has about 100 galleries displaying all works of traditional Korean art, from paintings to sculptures.

The most famous galleries include Hakgojae Gallery, which serves as a center for folk art, and Gana Art Gallery and Gana Art Center, which discover many promising artists.

The tea room and restaurant perfectly complement the gallery.

It's hidden deep in a winding alley, making you feel like you're on a treasure hunt. If you visit Insa-dong, please visit the cafe.

The stores in Insa-dong each have their own unique characteristics, making them very popular among all age groups.

very Saturday from 14:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 22:00, the main street is closed to vehicle traffic and transformed into a cultural space. Stores set up booths outside, and it's easy to spot Korean candy vendors and fortune-telling street vendors. There are also traditional performances and exhibitions. Insa-dong is especially popular with overseas tourists.

This is a place where you can directly experience and see Korean traditional culture and purchase art. We hope you have a variety of experiences in Insa-dong.
